I was so excited when this family contacted me to schedule their newborn shoot. I photographed their first born 2.5 years ago which always makes it very special when they come back. They are the sweetest family and their newest addition, “Laney” (don’t you LOVE that nickname?) is just as sweet as her big brother.

I had the pleasure of meeting baby Tyler a few weeks ago. I had photographed his big sister and big brother when they were newborns and feel so touched and honored that mom and dad came back to me for his newborn pictures <3
Tyler is a rainbow baby and I knew how important it was to make sure that we incorporated that into his photos. So that’s what we did! Didn’t they come out great!?!
If you don’t know what a rainbow baby is, a “rainbow baby” is a baby that is born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss. In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. Lets all congratulate this wonderful family on their beautiful rainbow baby boy!
Again, blessed beyond measure! I shot mom and dad’s wedding last summer and it was magical! And now THIS PRECIOUS LITTLE THING!
Ellie was one of my “mini newborn package” clients and spent most of her session starting into my soul LOL! No, seriously. She was wide awake and alert and staring at me the whole time. It was AWESOME! She is an old soul for sure and a pretty adorable little momma <3

This little baby was so sweet and really put up with me posing her. I’ve known her momma for a crazy long time and have such fond memories and experiences I shared with her.
