There is a specific kind of energy that comes with a Mini Session day (fast-paced, high-energy, and full of variety). My most recent event in April was no exception! I had the pleasure of hosting six headshot clients and one very dapper young man for his Communion portraits right here in the Scotch Plains area.
Although, by the end of these marathon days, I’ll admit—I am exhausted! But my heart is always so full. There is something so rewarding about helping seven different people find their confidence in front of the camera all in one afternoon.

And one of the highlights of the April date was our variety of setups. But while we offered several classic looks, my absolute favorite was the hot pink backdrop paired with strip lights. The lighting setup was designed to create a beautiful rim light around my clients, making them truly “pop” against that vibrant color.
