My newborn sessions take place at my Portrait Studio located in downtown Scotch Plains, NJ or in the comfort of your home with more of a documentary approach.

What makes my sessions different…

Newborn sessions include a complimentary consultation and a personalized and individualized approach to planning your unique session with me. You will have access to all of my props and adorable newborn accessories (shhhh…I have ALOT, just take a look at some of my props!) and the best part (besides the day you pickup your artwork)…the gallery reveal and ordering appointment! Imagine sitting with me and looking through your gallery of newborn photos?!

Because I take a very limited number of Newborn Clients each month, I highly recommend you book at least 12 weeks in advance to secure a spot on my calendar!

An investment that will gain value over time

Photography is one of the few investments that will appreciate in value over time. Children (and adults) grow older, dynamics shift. Photography is magical, it is super powerful. It can transport you to another time and place. It can help us feel close to loved ones that are no longer with us. It can create new memories through shared experiences. And it can even help children’s self confidence soar, seeing images of them adorning the walls of their home. It makes them feel a sense of love, pride, joy and belonging.

Professional photography is an investment, but I promise you that it is not one that you will regret making. Make sure that you connect with your photographern and that you love their work.

oh, the milestones

 

The one thing that you will hear often as a new parent is that it goes by so fast. You'll hear it from other young moms, you'll hear it from older moms. But I promise you will hear it. And it's not because anyone wants to rob you of that precious time when they are so young and new. It's because we yearn for those days. As exhausting and trying they may be, we miss them. And it really does seem to go by in the blink of an eye. Some of the fastest days are in that first year. A year FULL of firsts! First time they sleep through the night. First time they laugh. First time they say Momma or Dadda. First time sitting up. First time crawling. First time trying solid foods. First tooth. So. Many. Firsts. And they grow at a rapid rate. They change from day to day. One day they look like you, then the next day a totally different person! Believe me, I know this. And my heart aches for it. This is one of, if not THE, reasons I do what I do. I am called to it. And I want to capture it all for you! Your photographic journey does not have to end at your Newborn shoot. We can capture all of the stages of your baby's life. We can document it with beautiful art that has personal meaning to you (and your baby as they grow up). We can create beautiful albums that you can sit and flip through together, year after year, creating new moments of bonding and memories. Sharing a wonderful love that you will want to hold onto forever. And I would love nothing more!

Do you offer Maternity Sessions?

 

I do! I really enjoy working with women and showing them how beautiful they are. And what is more beautiful than a woman who is carrying life inside of her? Honestly it's also so exciting for me to actually be a part of their experience. From meeting and talking about their pregnancy, their hopes, their dreams, their excitement. And then just a few weeks later they're in my Studio for their newborn photos! It's honestly a complete honor.

Maternity sessions are very much a collaboration with my mommas to be. Each woman is unique and I really try to capture their style and beauty in a personalized way. And I think every woman deserves to have images capturing the miracle that is pregnancy!
