Toba, a spirited West Highland Terrier, and Dwen Dwen, a regal orange British Shorthair, are not just pets. They’re family. And their mom wanted their portraits to reflect just how cherished they are. As a fine art pet photographer in Scotch Plains, I had the joy of bringing this vision to life through a one-of-a-kind photoshoot that truly captured their personalities and bond.

🎂 A Tailored Birthday Experience with professional pet portraits

The inspiration came straight from their mom’s imagination. A whimsical hot air balloon set, a bubble-filled wonderland, and formal portraits that felt timeless yet playful. From beginning to end, we designed a shoot that was personal, elegant, and worthy of these furry superstars.

Hot Air Balloon Set – Featuring pastel tones and vintage charm, this setup made Toba and Dwen Dwen look like they were floating into their next adventure together.

Bubble Wonderland – Soft lighting and floating bubbles made for a dreamy, magical vibe that added a touch of fun to their session.

Rusty Brown Portraits – The formal portraits were set against a rich, rusty brown backdrop that perfectly complemented their fur and gave the images a warm, artistic quality.

Let them eat CAKE!

I was so happy to have Natalie back in The Studio for her First Birthday session! I do not get tired of seeing how “my” babies have grown over the course of a year. Especially when they haven’t been in since their newborn session! It is so fun to see the similarities to when they were babies, but also to see the changes that have happened since then! I genuinely LOVE it!

I also LOVE getting to see the parents and talk to them about the year and how much has happened and how THEY’VE GROWN! It’s especially fun when this is their first baby and they go from being brand new to the whole parenting thing to having a year of experience under their belts. If it doesn’t come through in my writing on this page, I REALLY LOVE what I do! And I REALLY LOVE the families that choose me to capture the most important times in their lives. It’s really an honor and I am so grateful <3

“Ditto”

I’m shocked to realize that it was more than 4 months ago that Colleen and I got together for her Dating Profile Session! But yes, here we are! I hope she updates me on what’s going on in the love department since our session! Because I legit get invested! I’m a romantic and I do truly want my dating profile clients to find love! Seriously!

Colleen is adorable and she is also ambitious. She’s one of those women who sees what she wants, and with focus and determination, reaches her goal. I think she also KNOWS what she wants. And she isn’t going to settle for anything less.

What are the most important things you are looking for in a partner?

That they are loyal That they enjoy traveling That they are employed That they are ready for true love and know it when they see it.

Colleen loves her job, but when she comes home she enjoys relaxing on the couch and getting into a good documentary. Now she just needs to find a good man with character who she can snuggle up next to.
