A Relaxed Scotch Plains Newborn Session with Baby Noah

Can you believe this amazing newborn session was already two months ago? By now, little Noah is probably walking and talking already! (Okay, I kid, I kid… but seriously, time is flying by!)
Stress-Free Newborn Photography in Scotch Plains
Noah was incredibly chill for his session, and I’m convinced it’s because his mom and dad were, too. One of my favorite parts of being a Scotch Plains newborn photographer is providing a space where parents can actually breathe.
When you come into my studio, I want you to sit down, relax, and just let me “do my thang.” It’s a rare break for new parents! Whether you want to catch up on emails, scroll Instagram, or literally take a nap on the comfy couch I picked out specifically for my studio space, you’re invited to make yourself at home.
Combining Ink and Art: Tattooed Dad Portraits
There were two things I absolutely fell in love with during this shoot: the dramatic silhouette shots and the portraits of Dad holding his son.
The tattoo shots were actually a last-minute inspiration! I saw some of Dad’s ink peeking through his shirt and knew we had to feature his personal art alongside his newest “work of art.” I may only have one tattoo myself (which I didn’t get until I was 37 years young!), but I have a deep appreciation for the craft. Transitioning into some artsy tattoo portraits felt so natural and gave this session a unique, edgy soul.
Capturing the Connection
Mom and Dad are the absolute cutest, and the love they have for their newest addition is so visible in every frame. Noah let me lead the way with poses, and the results are some of my favorite images to date.
