Not only do I have the honor of photographing these precious little babies, but sometimes I get to photograph my own cousins! This is Finbar Toughey. My littlest cousin. He may be a 2nd cousin or 1st cousin twice removed, or some sort of version of a cousin that I still haven’t been able to wrap my head around, but HE’S MY COUSIN! 🙂
Hannah and Stephen came with their little Vivian from NYC for their Maternity session and came back once Finbar was born for their Newborn session. I do Maternity as an add-on for my booked Newborn clients (incase you were wondering). And Hannah had some ideas and inspiration for her Maternity session which I love. Because it is a collaboration after all.
They are the sweetest little family and I will cherish the time we spent together capturing the new life they have built with one another!
While I do not promote or advertise my Maternity Photography (in fact I just realized I didn’t even have my maternity portfolio on my website LOL), I do love them and I offer them as an add-on to booked Newborn Clients. What can I say about Newborn Photography other than I absolutely LOVE it! From tiny baby fingers and toes to the cute little noises they make. There is no denying that these babies are little miracles. And I am SO BLESSED and GRATEFUL that parents let me snuggle, hold and photograph these tiny blessings that they have brought into this world. And I feel a calling to create beautiful pieces of art with baby as the subject. I love being a Baby Photographer!
My newborn photography sessions take place at my Portrait Studio located in downtown Scotch Plains, NJ. As a Fine Art Portrait Studio I offer a variety of beautiful archival products and wall art for you to display and enjoy in your home for years to come.
Sessions include a complimentary consultation and a personalized and individualized approach to planning your unique session with me. You will have access to all of my props and adorable newborn accessories (shhhh…I have ALOT, just take a look at all my bucket options!) and the best part (besides the day you pickup your artwork)…the gallery reveal and ordering appointment!
Because I take a very limited number of Newborn Clients each month and highly recommend you book at least 12 weeks in advance to secure a spot on my calendar! There is a 200 retainer to book and I offer multiple collections, both digital and printed.
Do you offer Maternity Sessions?
The short answer is YES! I really enjoy working with women and showing them how beautiful they are. And what is more beautiful than a woman who is carrying life inside of her? Honestly it’s also so exciting for me to actually be a part of their experience. From meeting and talking about their pregnancy, their hopes, their dreams, their excitement. And then just a few weeks later they’re in my Studio with their new baby. It’s honestly a complete honor.
Maternity sessions are very much a collaboration with my mommas to be. Each woman is unique and I really try to capture their style and beauty in a personalized way. And I think every woman deserves to have images capturing the miracle that is pregnancy!
