You have no idea how many backdrops I own...LOL. But this is one that I recently got and I am so in love with the soft tones of it! It`s hard to believe that this baby was just shy of 2 months old!

I typically do my Newborn sessions when baby is around 2 weeks old. But that has never stopped me from taking on an "older" baby. Sounds ridiculous, right? HAHA!

But there is a reason for this. There is ALOT of work that goes in behind the scenes of a newborn shoot. These beautiful images, poses, that you see in the final product can take a really long time to get. When babies are new, they sleep more and are more flexible/pliable being that they just came from the womb. As they get "older", they are more alert/awake and their body becomes a bit more stiff and more difficult to get into the really squishy poses.

But, like I said, that has never stopped me from doing a newborn session with an "older"baby. Usually the parents are super appreciative because they may have missed the ball, forgot to schedule, or just got caught up with life and didn`t consider booking a newborn shoot!
